Android app 3.2.2.586
I lock my phone rotation to portait only. I only want landscape when I explicitly press a fullscreen button from apps like Youtube or video players. Previously, if my phone is locked in portrait mode, even if I’m lying in my bed (phone is tilted in various angles) watching Wyze cam recordings, the video plays in portrait mode. If i tapped fullscreen icon, it would do fullscreen in landscape mode. With the new video player of Wyze app, playing a recording auto rotates the whole phone’s screen if my phone is somehow slightly tilted. I don’t want this automatic forced behavior, can we have the ability to turn that on/off?

The Wyze app ignores the display orientation lock for both Android and iOS. Been that way for a long time.
Had to find my older phone to charge to be able to access an older version of the Wyze app (v2.50.9.xxx). it definitely was not auto-rotating if my phone was locked in portrait mode as you can see.
why is this feature not configurable and is forced now? i was locked with the phone’s system rotation settings before, unless user explicitly rotates the screen, but now it’s auto-rotating regardless of system settings.
