I am technical my wife is not. She wants an Unlimited subscription I do not. My sister wants to buy and unlimited subscription for my two cameras at my mothers and possibly monitoring… I DO NOT.
There should be a control that will allow shared purchase a subscription and not require ONLY the primary to purchase the subscription.
I multiple cameras at my moms my sister And My two dads and my house i do not want to share my main password and let everyone see each others cameras. My sister wants to purchase a full subscription for my Mom but only record at my dads and my wife want to monitor my house but only the living room camera. My brother wants to buy a subscription at one of my dads house. I own the cameras because i monitor them and make sure they are reset when they are moved and on standby when they are home. As some inly want the cameras operational when they are not home… unmanageable with the current policies and programming. I used to be able to do this..
But you only allow the primary to purchase a subscription, seems not user friendly
Shared user accounts are limited pretty severely. However if the main user has a subscription, I believe the shared users can view the cloud clips (hopefully someone else will correct if I’m wrong, but my recollection is that it works that way). So if that is the case, just have them pay the owner for a subscription, then their shared accounts will have access to the cloud clips and features.
I’m not sure if someone buys their own subscription, if that will “upgrade” their ability to view shared cam clips but I’m pretty sure if the owner does not have a sub, there are no cloud clips thus they wouldn’t be able to view them in that case.
Obviously in that case “unlimited” may not be the way to go, if they want access to multiple different “owners” cams then individual licenses may make more sense.
Maybe the owners will see the value and split it with them or something.
completely misunderstanding - when I talked with the customer no-service and asked to file a complaint i was told i had to blog a out it.
The wyze policy is ridiculous, we should have more control over the camera we own and the app we pay for. If we want to share control with a guest there should be a selection that allows that. If a guest wants to pay for a service there should be a selection for primary user to allows that.
As the camera primary we need authorization control and the ability to share camera control if we are not technical enough to manage the camera features or services.!!
We used to be able to do that but that ability has been removed. It is inconvenient and your fix is to trust others to pay me back… simply No that is irrational as a general solution..
How do i file a complaint or ask to add a feature to wyze…
