I will be replacing ALL outdoor Wyze products (except my Floodlight V2) since they are non-PIR motion sensing. I have trees all around and when the wind blows the motion sensing constantly goes off. I usually just turn the cameras off. If I were to restrict detection area, the camera would be worthless. The same is true for sensitivity setting. Going to move PIR based cameras. Oh, I forgot one other major annoyance, when false motion is detected, it tells me it is a vehicle. These are the vehicles that are ALWAYS parked there.
Wyze will detect a parked vehicle if anything in the video frame moves.
I have noticed my Reolink cameras do this rarely, but it does happen on occasion. However it is Far better than Wyze with that issue of detecting parked vehicles.
AI is built in to camera and Not cloud dependent.
No subscription and full camera function unlike Wyze
I live in a National Forest so plenty of trees with minimal false detections when they sway in the wind.
