Will we ever see any change to this? Depending on a PC’s screen geometry, this single button really eats up a lot of screen real estate, and that seems wholly unnecessary, especially when something like this appears to belong on the same line or in the same section as the other filter buttons (which currently sit below it). I really think this should be moved there, even if y’all want to make it animated with eye-catching colors or something. Make it as visually distracting as you want, just make it smaller and move it somewhere else.
Using a browser’s inspection tools or something like uBlock Origin’s element zapper, I can temporarily delete the button from view, but the remainder of the content on the Event page doesn’t collapse to fill the space: That empty space remains there at the top of the page. This really seems like clumsy coding, and I’d like to see Wyze do better (cf. Wyze - Please remove or relocate the "Unlock AI Video Search" advertisement from the Events page).
I noticed just today that selecting an event on the Events page now shows the video in a lightbox-type format instead of the previous UI (showing the viewer on the left ⅔-¾ or so with a vertically-scrolling events list on the right), so clearly Wyze is making changes to Web View. I sincerely hope a relocation of this unnecessarily huge button is one of those changes to come.
