Install the Wyze app skill in the Alexa app and link the 2 and then Discover Device.
Yah gotta cut them some slack because it hasn’t been officially released and is more of an open beta but good to know it’s not just me having issues. Mine seem resolved as well

Since I am not a beta tester, nor do I care to be, if they do put into production an “open beta” I do not want to cut them any slack. As of 1 month ago when this update was pushed (see posts 182 to 186) there was no clear answer about this only that the update was put into production and an “announcement” was forthcoming.
I just set up 2 Alexa routines last night. I am on Apple not android so I’m not sure what you’re on but I set up 2 and they both worked

Same here. 1/3 of the time Alexa will run routine. All times my phone will tell me there is motion, record it and tell me when clear with external motion sense. Tried new motion sense that Wyze sent me. No luck. Same inconsistent issues running Alexa routine (meaning it is not run) at least for me. Reset everything, oh well.

Just set up another Alexis routine and it worked every time. There’s about a three second delay

I have 4 Alexa routines I set up, deleted. Renamed camera and sensor… No worky consistently. Oh well

I’m still seeing inconsistencies… works all day and then stops. Need to restart cameras. I’m using google mesh and wondering if it has problems cuz it is connecting to the 5g instead of the 2.4? Anyway, it is still not in production yet, so hoping these guys get it figured out fairly soon!

I was told by a member that the sence intergation to Wyze is in Bata stage release by Wyze, not fully supported …yet?
I’m getting good responded from Alexa though…with an occasional glich now and then. I just wait up a bit and the issues fixies itself …

You are correct it is still in beta so you may see some glitches here and there. They seem to be making headway as it has been working better for me.

In case you missed it we have officially shipped this feature! Your Wyze Sense sensors are now available to be seen and used in Alexa Routines. Just go to the Alexa app and set up there!

Nope. No they aren’t. Went to Alexa and dried discovering under various types including hub, switch, and “other”. No bueno. I have the Wyze app installed, I can see the cameras.

You shouldn’t actually have to discover new devices. If you already see your cameras listed the sensors should just appear in that list. If you still don’t see them go to the “Your Skills” section in the Alexa app and make sure the Wyze skill is enabled.

Be nice if this was reported under the Wyze firmware and SW updatres and such so that people know it is being worked on. I cannot be the only one where an Alexa routine is not triggered by the Wyze Cam v2 with hub and Sense kit. Deleted, reattached, rediscovered and so on. Alexa routines deleted, readded. Works 1/3 of the time–meaning Alexa routine runs 1/3 of the time when Wyze Sense Sensor detects motion. Signal could not be stronger between router and Wyze and Wyze hub to sense. All line of sight to each other. 200mbps down. Wireless speed great. All on same network.
Oh well.
Thanks for this feature, works great out of the box for me. I have Alexa announcing when my front door opens/closes. Only thing I would request is some kind of integration for “left opened” timer with Alexa. E.g. If Alexa could tell me the “front door has been opened for 5 minutes”!

Alexa works great for me. There are occasions when the verbal alert isn’t always 100% but it’s probably 80%. And I’m new to Alexis so I’m not going to say that I’m an expert and I haven’t done something possibly wrong. I’m happy with my Alexa routines and they’re all working fine.
Was playing with routines which work for simple actions like announcing a contact sensor opened/closed. But I saw that I cannot have a Routine that automatically has my Echo Show start playing video from a camera based on a sensor event. E.g. If contact sensor (my gate) opens, show me the front door camera. It seems that camera actions are not supported in routines??
