Hello Community,
I have Wyze thermostats “1.0” since early inception (“early adopter”). Still work fine (well, 1 of 2 still periodically drops off Wi-Fi, but pulling it out of the wall socket (forced power cycling) still does the trick). All is good, but what I really miss from competitors’ products is an “air circulation” (“refresh”) mode, where you can set a length of time (and in some a schedule for this function alone) for only fan to come on and cycle the air through the zone. For example, our Bedroom at the end of the house is the coldest place in the winter, and hottest in summer (inferior walls insulation). “Other” brand would come on periodically, cycling the air, bringing the temp closer to the thermostat’s set point. Yes, I can add the area sensor, but why to run AC or furnace, when I could solve it with cycling the fan alone?
Any workarounds or updates to help?
Any plans on adding this feature to next gen? I really want it this year to the point of getting one of alternative brand. Thank you!
