Vendor redundancy is a good point. I have had excellent results and reliability with TP-Link smart plugs and in-wall switches.

I love the idea if having spare cameras and maybe placing a wyze plug on a couple of them to power-cycle. What I donāt like is baking-in more things that could go wrong.
Iām going to set up some cameras in my elderly parents home and your experaince has given me a lot to think about.

UPDATE on my original post: Just wanted to bring the update on everyoneās suggestion to my cam query. All the cams (both parents) have their own Govee wifi outlets powering them as per K6CCC and Sam_Bamās suggestions. I have not had any cams go offline since installing Govee. I did have some issues with establishing the wifi connection between the gateway and Govee units. The solution was to add a router in bridge mode (custom firmware) and run a wifi 2.4Ghz signal with a slightly higher attenuation level (Tx=37mW).
I did also add a scheduled nightly reboots for all the cams as suggested by Customer. No issues recorded here.

Yes, Sam; That and hopefully more of an AI features in their future firmware upgrades. 
Before I forget; I have one of the cams running rather warm compared to the other 7 cams. These are all indoor cameras (v.2 and v 3) with the room temperatures varying between 68F and 74F. The rules pertaining to the cams are identical. Anyone has any ideas what could the cause of this?
Different power supply?
