The wize cam v3 does provide enough lights outside, can’t see my yard
Please read what you wrote and translate that so we can tell what you are asking or stating. As written, it makes no sense.
Yes, can you post an example picture? May help us narrow your issue down.
Thanks!
My Wyze cam v3 does not provide enough light even with the spotlight on it.
From the picture, I see several issues.
1 - It looks like you are trying to look through a window at a very off axis angle (not straight through the glass). Not goona work. There is FAR too much glare off the glass. You MIGHT be able to improve it by making a light shield to block all light from inside from reaching the glass that you shooting through. With the angle shown, that would be almost impossible.
2 - You are not in night vision mode. I know the terminology is confusing. When the camera is in daytime mode, the IR illuminators are always off and the camera displays in color. Because of the high sensitivity of the camera, if there is very much light, daytime mode works pretty well at night - as long as there is some light. When in night mode, the IR illuminators are on IF you have them enabled, and the camera will always display in black and white. Since I am seeing color, I can tell you are in daytime mode.
3 - This is a note (not observed in your photo), if shooting through glass with one of the cameras that has the status light on the front, you MUST turn off the status light. This is the case with the V3 camera.
Can you get the camera outside so it is not trying to look through the window? With the angle you are attempting to use, you will get massively better results by NOT looking through the window.
