Looking forward to the outdoor Wyze Cam. I recently opted not to renew my $100/year Ring subscription to store video. I’ve put one V2 on my deck railing pointed at the doorbell and another V2 in my shed.
I keep the Ring doorbell because it still works as a nice video door bell. And the Ring Security cam because it has a motion activated flood light and sends push notifications.
It’s supposed to be a pretty rainy/snowy/overall gross day today. I’ll see how the V2 holds up. It’s not very well protected other than that enclosure. My other V2 I’ve had outside in a similar enclosure since launch, but it’s under a porch roof and well protected from everything but heat/cold.
