Wyze recently offered a $7.99/mo for 1 year offer via email that allegedly ended on Oct 20 or Oct 21. When I checked my cam today, I had a similar offer in my app, so I went to see if the offer was still there and it kind of was.
It offers me $7.99, but it almost looks like it’s just for the first month? It says an introductory offer for a year, but also shows “recurring price $9.99” (order summary screenshot attached).
I was previously able to take advantage of the “name your price” offer and pay very little for basic services so I’m not upgrading to a nonrefundable $9.99/mo yearly subscription. And I’m also not going to sign up for a $7.99/mo offer for a year and only get $7.99 for the first month.
Anyone know if I should anticipate it going to $9.99 after the first month? Does anyone from Wyze read these or is this just a community forum so I know whether I actually have to call them?
Also, the link from the old email still works, but this too only shows $7.99/mo and also lists $9.99/mo (email screen shot provided). Maybe it really has expired and now they’re only willing to give $7.99 for 1 month? The bottom of the email does state “$7.99/mo offer expire after 1 year and reverts back to $9.99/mo” (email screenshot provided).
