How do you add a second admin account. An account that will have full access to the camera?
You cannot. Each camera is connected to a single Wyze account for admin purposes. You can share the login credentials for that account with another person, and that person will have full control of the camera from their device. Or you can share the camera to a person with a different Wyze account and they will be able to view the live stream, but not be able to change camera settings and will not receive notifications for alert videos. Can I add a second account? I have an account at my house and want to install Wyzecam cameras at my mother’s house. Can I download a second Wyzecam app without replacing and deleting my current app?
I have telephoned Wyzecam Customer Service, left a message and sent an email, all without a response.it
If you have an android phone you can try installing the app in the secure folder that might allow a 2nd instance of the app. I haven’t tried it with wyze app though.
I hope you can make it to where my spouse and I can both admin the account. This is an inconvenience. We both have an iphone. I want us both to be able to do whatever needs doing, not just me.

If you want to share admin with a trusted individual in your own home, then just use the same logon credentials.

When you do that it shuts camera down on first phone. Just tried it

I just tried it with a Note 9 running android 9 and an S7 running android 8 both running 2.5.30, and its working fine, i can view the same camera from both, switch to different cameras, view events, ect.
What phones/os version/app version are you running on them?

Pixel 3 and lg g7 both running Android 9. As soon as she logged it to account it shut my camera view off
Haven’t had that problem. Both my wife and I are logged into the same account with three different devices, 2 iPhones and an iPad.

have you tried again? this should not be happening, might want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the app

You guys now need to address this topic. We just got the scale, but if my wife is logged in under my account (admin) then she can’t weigh herself individually on the scale. It’ll show under her account.

Exact same scenario with the scale that brought me here.
So….is this still the suggested solution from Wyze!? You have too many products now that really need this multiple admin option available. Wyze lock or anything else that uses geolocation should use individual accounts for best practices. But since my wife can’t view video playback on her account she just uses mine.

I totally agree. I have used the Wyze camera’s successfully and now want to install one in my Dad’s house 200 miles away. My bother will install it but he is not tech savy so it makes sense for me to be the admin.
The only way we can keep me as Admin is if I share my login details, which is fine with my trusted brother, however really poor practice from a security perspective.
