Wyze widget stuck on Please Log In on IPhone 15PM

Can confirm. Just updated my iPhone 14 Pro to 17.1 and the widgets work. My Wyze app version 2.46.0 (6).

After updating my phone, I still saw “Please log in” on the widget. To make it work I clicked the widget, logged in (whereas it used to just open the app), forced closed the Wyze app and re-opened Wyze app.

There’s a little wonkiness with the widgets. Specifically the one where you choose a single device. The selector doesn’t work as it should, but eventually got it to work after a lot of random tapping. :man_shrugging:

Edit: Also the on/off status for grouped cameras seems broken. I have a group of indoor cameras that only turns on when no one’s home and the widget status says on, even though I confirmed they’re all currently off. Just Wyze being Wyze I guess

New iPhone 15 and can’t log in to the app. Keeps saying that it is a strange connection.
Works on my older IPad just fine.
Wyze – please fix this.

In case it helps others, I was having this same issue on iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 17.1.1, until I updated the firmware on all my devices. After updating firmware I removed and added the widgets back and they work now.

Thank you @PerilousDonuts! Too bad I just updated to iOS 17.1.2 yesterday :sob: do you think it’s worth trying?

Is there going to be any resolution to this widget issue? I’ve had others and have submitted logs with no resolve.
If not I would just like to be told that so I can scrap my Wyze products and move on to something more reliable.

Thanks,

Just tried adding the widget for the first time, and ran into this issue. Wyze, please provide an update. Lots of unhappy users here, I see.

Same issue, with all the latest software as of April 26, 2024.

Device: Brand new iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS 17.4.1
Wyze app version: 2.50.5 (4)
Camera firmware: 4.36.11.8391

Logged into the app and able to use it just fine, but all of the widgets just say “please log in.”
