I’m still not seeing any results in the web UI, regardless of what I search for. I haven’t been able to try it in app yet, I’m on Android and the beta app hasn’t updated.
How do i get the beta app?

Question: Does the AI search only return Cam Plus clips? For me that seems to be the case as I only have 2 cameras on Cam Plus and those are the only 2 cameras returning results. Is this the intent?
Suggestion: Have the AI result thumbnails show the image that matches the search. As I noted in a previous post, many of the AI results initially look like bad results based on the thumbnail, but are actually good results when you play the clip. Many times you may not need to play the clip to confirm what you were searching for based on the thumbnail, and the fewer clips played, the less IT resources needed, thus a cost savings for Wyze. It would also make for a better user experience.

Likely yes since this is all based on cloud video and only CamPlus subscribers have cloud video saved. Non CamPlus users do not have cloud video saved.
Hi Marvrulz, by design we should support all events. What are your other devices that don’t work with video search yet? Could you also share me if you used the feature from the web, or ios app? I saw a few others report the same issue.
On better result showing…Can I say that we are working on it already? We are working on a few Proof of Concepts now and hopefully, we can get it out soon!

Android is taking us some extra time. Hang tight! Once Android is out, if you can see a search icon but not any results still, please share a log number so we can look into it!

My experience is with both web and IOs app. I just tried it again with “Dog” on the app. I have many cameras that should easily return dog clips and yet only my 2 Cam Plus cameras returned results. When look at my basic event list is see video clips from 2 non-Cam Plus cameras that show my dogs that were not included in the AI results.

The non-CP cameras, what service are they on? Do you get event recordings from these cameras?
Just had a bear walk down my sidewalk. 3 cameras cought it but NO EVENTS…wtf
Cam Plus Lite. Yes, there are event video clips for them.

It works for quite a few internal testers when they search USPS/Fedex trucks. Have you view the events to see if there’s anything relevant?

I tried searching on USPS but didn’t get any USPS results. In fact, I only got one result and it was a white truck and unmarked.
I just noticed that it also not returning results from my video doorbell pro which is not on any service but provides event video clips. I have clips from it with a clear American Flag and a “delivery man” which another Cam Plus camera gives me AI results from, but the doorbell does not.
Got the new Android app. Looks nice.
I get no search results of any kind in it for any search term, and no option for feedback.
On web, I get results only from the Doorbell, a search for ‘cat’ returns just dogs, and no option for feedback.
I have 7 cameras, all on Cam Plus. One Doorbell V2, the rest are a mix of V2 and V3.
