We’re releasing Wyze Video Doorbell v2 firmware 4.51.1.7518! This fixes the doorbell press 5-minute recording and notification cooldown problem for people not using Cam Plus and has other bug fixes and security improvements.

The first firmware update still won’t work for me. It keeps killing my V2 every time I try it. I’ve gone through all of the troubleshooting and no luck.

I’m still on Wyze Door Bell Cam V1 (in a box), as an early buyer, “non adapter”. Along with my V1 Door Dead bolt ( in a box), too. 
Now that I have a new ISP n more bandwidth.
What horror’s await me n my older tech ?

No. They will not make it available because supposedly it does not have the ability to manually upgrade/reflash.
