That was just a random number I threw out as an example for what it might be doing internally. I think I made it more clear (above).
No new updates on firmware upgrades. At what point do you stop stringing along your long-time customers and let us upgrade the firmware on this vacuum? If it bricks it, send us a new one. If you put as much effort into supporting your current customers as you do sending me notices of device sales and subscription updates, you could have put this behind all of us and moved on. Quit ignoring usā¦it isnāt going away. Figure out how to update this vacuum, or ship out new units. This is getting old quickly.
@WyzeJasonJ - Any updates on getting us our updated firmware or replacement vacuum? I am still stuck with Firmware 1.6.164 and some have older than that. We jumped in when you needed beta testers to test software on the vacuums we purchased, and now we are left out in the cold. It is time for Wyze to make this right.
WayneM,
I am on 1.6.173
Are you sure in:
Account,
About,
Beta Program,
Youāre Testing,
You have the vacuum listed in there?
I have had a few things not there because I didnāt start out with them, then when I added types of devices to my house, I had to go in and edit that list. I dont choose everything, as some of the things I never intend to buy. Then they come out with something I didnāt know I needed all my life⦠and I will have to edit what is in the ābeta programā.
It isnāt all or nothing.
Sorry if you already knew thisā¦
I was originally in their beta software program, but that testing phase is over. And some of our vacuums are now stuck on an old beta firmware because Wyze canāt figure out how to update them to current without bricking them.
Would be nice to get an update from Wyze about the status of vacuums on old beta firmware. Mine stuck on 1.6.173.
I have 2 vacuums - 1 is stuck on 1.6 173, the other is stuck on 1.6.126
For months and months. I do like Wyze products, but what you have when you buy it is often all youāll get - updates on all products are few and far between (except for changes which are meant to allow for more subscriptions)
