Every since updating my two Wyze V4 cameras to 4.52.17.26 I see gaps in my MicroSD card for events. This is a steady pattern of missing events. I is anyone else seeing this? [Screenshot 2026-10-04 at 7.32.30 PM] [Screenshot 2026-10-04 at 7.36.27 PM] [Screenshot 2026-10-04 at 7.39.21 PM]

Not seeing that specific problem, but have other issues. With that said, my video stuttering issues started with the previous version of firmware. I wish I could roll back to 2 versions ago as that firmware was solid. WYZE has pulled all v4 firmware from their download page. No idea why that is …

I have two cameras doing this weird behaviour and both are V4s. My old V2 pan is not doing it and my new V4 pan is fine. I have tried formatting SD card and swapping SD card. But right now both are doing it since the latest firmware It does the first 40 min of every hour then the next 20 min it s…

Since a new card and a format didn’t change it and it’s the same 20 minutes every hour on only the V4s, I’d lean toward the firmware. One quick test: switch the SD recording on one V4 to Continuous for a few hours. If the timeline still goes blank for those same 20 minutes, it’s the recording loop i…

I have five V4 cams recording continuous, using the .26 firmware and there are no gaps in the timeline. The only time I have ever seen a break in the timeline doing continuous recording is if I turn the camera off then later turn it back on. Do the two cams with issues have any automations set to tu…

I am in Montreal now and it is not a half hour time zone. Once i synced my cameras to Montreal time the gaps in timelines disappeared.

Bettter move to Montreal [laughing]

I checked several of mine and am not seeing this. My guess would be half hour time zones.

Sadly, WYZE has had various time zone and daylight savings time issues since inception. Glad you figured out a workaround.
