My Solar cam pan survived the winter 30 ft. up on a pole with my weather station until the last winter storm and the mount the pole was attached to failed. The camera survived but the tabs on a gray mount did not
Does anyone have a source for a replacement part?
I don’t off-hand, but if I was in your situation, I would probably go search through some of the 3D sites or search engines for a replacement. My first look is usually searching Yeggi like:
https://www.yeggi.com/q/wyze+solar+pan+cam/
Or use variations including quotes around groups of words to narrow things down.
Or sometimes you can even use generic prints that are compatible with the size and orientation needed.
When you find one, you can often get them printed for free from your local library, or for just the cost of materials. Otherwise there are lots of private places that will print them for you if you search for 3D printing near you.
At least that is where I would start. Maybe someone else will chime in with a better suggestion or a specific print to use.
I agree with trying to source a 3D model as a replacement unless/until Wyze decides to make these available as accessories. When I got a Solar Cam Pan and mounted it beneath the eave at the corner of a deck overhang, I used screws through the mount’s top holes, which means that the mount’s back is open, and to me that just looks like a cavity that’s asking for spiders or insects to take up residence. I’ve always thought someone should come up with a 3D Wyze logo plate to snap into place and cover that up.
I also think Wyze should just sell replacement mounting brackets as accessories. Because the solar panel can be mounted directly to the Cam and because a bracket with intact tabs is so easy to use for clipping/removing the camera, I could imagine some people might like to have several mounts that they could screw to various locations and then easily move the Cam around at will.
I wish I had a better answer for this question.

Thank you! I got as far as searching etsy to see if anyone was printing them.
I posted that the plastic bracket is not sturdy. It does shake a little, and if heavy winds it would probably fall off. There should be a better replacement, or something in stainless steel bracket.
I thought of this topic when I saw that post. ![]()
I don’t have a solution for this, but I do think Wyze should make replacements available. Also, because of the way the top/battery portion has threaded inserts for directly mounting the solar panel bracket, I wonder if it might be possible to use those for attaching a metal mount depending on how/where the camera is intended to be placed. I don’t know how much stress those points can take, though, so it’s probably best sticking with something that can latch onto the existing mount protrusion.
