I have a Solar Cam Pan that does not capture any events (motion or sound) or track people…unless the livestream is active. I also have a v3 cam pan and thought they would work similarly, but this one just don’t do anything. I can be moving in front of it and it doesn’t move. As soon as I open the app and start the livestream it immediately starts tracking me as I would expect.
Am I missing something? It should work the same as a cam pan v3, no?
I have followed all steps listed in My Wyze Solar Cam Pan is missing or not recording Events, but no change in functionality. Is this just a dud camera, or do you have to have the livestream active for it to do anything?
