Dissatisfied - Solar Cam Pan will not record vehicles or pets. Fully charged. Detection Zone on. Detection Range on far. Motion Sensitivity on high. Event motion recording is set to all events with all customized detections on. Has a Wyze MicroSD card set to record events only. The pan controls are calibrated with the proper angle and the motion tracking is on. But still won’t record vehicles & pets. Only records people within 20 feet. Does anyone else have this problem?
Is it consistently recording people within 20 feet or only sporadically? There are two things that come to mind - smart detections (recognizing people and cars etc) requires a good wifi signal and internet connection since that processing is done in the cloud, and those detections only work at certain distances, preferably at a fairly flat angle. What kind of distances are the vehicles at that aren’t being detected? Maybe post a screen shot of the field of view?
