Please enable vehicle tracking on the Solar Cam Pan. It follows people, not vehicles, on driveways. This would boost security by catching entering cars and their license plates, helping deter crime and assist investigations.

I could see some utility with this. Especially if the Solar Cam Pan is attached to a subscription that enables Smart Detections, then it’d be cool to have a feature similar to Cam Pan v4 where Smart Tracking has individual Person, Pet, and Vehicle detections that can be selected and re-ordered for priority. I don’t know how this would play with Solar Cam Pan’s built-in (no subscription required) Track Person feature, but I imagine Wyze could figure that out.
@Crease I completely agree! I have the Cam Unlimited Pro subscription. I get Smart Detections. I hope they update the software to do what the Cam Pan v4 can do!
Voted for this as well. I thought the solar cam pan would function the same way for tracking as my other two cam pans. Shocked this lacks the same functionality for vehicles.
I would also like to be able to track animals coming through my backyard that are trying to eat my wife’s ducks. IE coyotes, Foxes, racoons and possums. They are a bigger problem to us than people at this point.
I totally agree! We had a coyote pass one of our cameras on 1/11. It would have been nice if the camera could have tracked it!
I would like to see the ability to track Pets / Wildlife and Vehicles. With the ability to place these far from the house, I would love to be able to use it as a wildlife cam, or a vehicle monitoring cam at the end of my driveway. This would dramatically increase the use case for these cameras. It’s a great platform but is severely limited by the ‘person only’ setting.
I purchased the Solar Pan Cam to monitor the length of my driveway. I discovered the only items it will track is persons and only then if its enabled. I also own the Cam Pan v4 which does automatically track every category I’ve selected. They are very similar hardware I feel that they should be able to do equal tracking. If the Solar model can’t be modified to function the same way I don’t have any reason to keep it. The user should have choice on this tracking issue.

Allow the Solar Cam and Pan to track vehicles
I live in a rural area and would like for this camera to track vehicles that enter my property, which are very few so the camera battery is not an issue.
We purchased this under the impression that it would track people/vehicles/animals similar to the Cam Pan v3. We went through the whole process of figuring out where to mount it, positioning it, doing all the drilling and installation just to find out after pairing that it doesn’t track the way we thought it would. The place we mounted it was based on that feature alone. I really hope they decide to add this 
at first the solar cam would not pan for animals…tech support walked me through how to make the solor cam pick up animals and other movement other than people- it can do it but the instructions are not intuitive.
Curious if you can walk me though setting that up.
I’ve had a request in for many months and haven’t heard anything about this. I’m curious how also.
