Can I program Wyze plug? This was shared with me and I need to alter the schedule.
- How do I program turning on at SUNSET and then turn off at 12:30 AM? Doesn’t seem to turn off and stays on all day.
- Doesn’t seem to turn on at SUNSET consistently.

I’m trying to understand your situation and goal, and I think some more information would be helpful. When you say that the Plug was shared with you, then does that mean the Plug was set up with another Wyze user’s account so that this person is the device’s owner and has shared access with you? If that’s the case, then that person probably needs to alter the schedule or else delete any schedules that have been assigned to the Plug.
Please be aware that some Wyze Plugs have a Local Schedules feature and some do not. Original Plugs don’t, so the only way to schedule those within the Wyze app is with Automations. Second- and third-generation Plugs do have Local Schedules. See this for a quick guide:
Please note that references to Rules are from the pre-v3x app. Wyze changed “Rules” to “Automations” when that version of the app was launched last year.
Also be aware that if you’re a user with shared access and if the Plug’s owner has deleted all the schedules (both Local Schedules and Automations), then you should be able to set your own Automations (from the app’s Home screen, tap ➜ Automation ➜ With a schedule) even though you’re not the device’s owner.
If all that makes sense and you’re still having problems, then please share some more details about what you mean by “shared with me” and exactly how you’re currently attempting to schedule the Plug.
