Are the SMS alerts slow today or is it just me? I did update all the firmware on my cameras yesterday. Now, my notification SMS text are taking a long time. Just me or my carrier? Or is there an issue with the firmware update?

I didn’t know this was a feature. Are you saying there is a feature to receive SMS alerts when a camera detects motion? Where is that feature located?

I assume you mean push notifications from the app rather than text messages (SMS). I don’t think SMS works at all yet.

I thought some notifications were delayed, but I haven’t tested to be totally sure. I will keep an eye out.

Don’t think so? It’s had the dreaded “maybe later” (a.k.a. “go away kid you bother me”) status for 3 years.

SMS (text message) notifications

SMS notifications would be nice for those of us that have limited data. There are a lot of people that have Tracfone or Consumer Cellular plans that give people a limited amount of data… so people like us don’t keep our data on most of the time. SMS notifications would be very beneficial for us. I know that this can be done with IFTTT… but that also requires that data be turned on.
