Wyze Lock not paring during setup - no green light

Hi all, I wanted to reach out to the community incase someone else faced a similar issue and had any luck resolving it. This happens while pairing the lock for the first time. It is not going into pairing mode. After following the procedure detailed in the guide and at the step where you press the pairing button for 3 seconds, the light does not go green and there is no beep. Even after trying 3 different sets of new batteries and that did not seem to have any effect on the outcome. Has anyone had a similar issue and was able to resolve it? Is there a routine to “factory reset” the lock?
Side note, when searching for Bluetooth devices from the phone’s connections menu the Wyze lock shows in list of available devices - so it must be broadcasting something :confused:
