I have a garage door controller that is showing offline in my goolge home devices. The GDC works perfectly in the Wyze app but will not show up in my goolge home app.
The GDC has a full wifi signal strength where it is located.
I have tried:
Deleting both apps and clearing data caches from both.
Signing out of both apps.
Deleting my home and resetting it up from sratch.
Deleting my Wyze devices from my Wyze account and setting them back up from scratch,
Enrolling the GDC in the Beta software program.
I have been combing the internet for an answer and have been coming up short, wondering if anyone knows of a fix, thanks.
Sorry to say I have no concrete advice. It just started working one day for the last few months and now just yesterday, 4-16-2024, its back to showing offline. Both my Wyze thermostats also lost connection but those I got back after restarting my router. The GDC however, still offline.
Update to my update. I reset the pin and then use the Wyze app to open and close the garage. After doing those steps it reconnected to my google assistant. Not a great solution but it worked.
Thanks bassplayer1939!!! That worked like a champ! Reset pin for google integration and open/close in Wyze app relinked it for me. Shows online and available in google home now
