Wyze events not working 504

Is it just me? 3-4-24 8:49 CST non of my events on mobile or website work at all.
Did WYZE decide to try some new security thing or something?

WHY CANT WYZE LEAVE WELL ENOUGH ALONE???

Also why does this forum make you choose two tags for a post?
Seems highly unnecessary.

Same thing happened in Southern California at. 6:57 p.m.

Yup, broke again, no events. Then I logged out and back in and now I can’t even see the cameras. Nothing. I’m getting real tired of Wyze.

No, it’s not just you. No events here either. — Posting this edit a few minutes later, things seem to be back working again.

No events for me either!
Cam+ Unlimited not much use now!
I hesitated logging out, glad I waited.
Also,
Interior Plugs in groups do NOT show.
Exterior Plugs in groups do NOT show.
I guess we will not be seeing the firmware updates for the interior/exterior plugs tonight!
I also have a BR30 color bulb that was on that list too and a bunch of V1 bulbs.
Update 21:09 CST
The events window just populated, and the plugs are there again!
AWS shows no recent incidents.

Hopefully it will stay up the rest of the night.
Update 21:15 CST
Events gone again, back, then gone again.
Who knows what is going on.
I give up, good night.

I have the team looking into this right now.

Thanks WyzeJasonJ!

Can anyone tell me if they are still seeing the issue happening?

I am in the southern US. I just clicked on Events and it gave a blank screen. It then populated with all events from all cameras, and I cannot select just the one camera I want to look at, it will eventually fail with:
Failed to update the device list (error code 500).

Also,
None of my interior plugs show under the interior plug group.
None of my outdoor plugs show under the Outdoor plug group.

I can still view cameras though, so I am afraid to logout of the app.
I did try the cache clearing at both the Android level and App level, did not help.

@muerte33 Can you submit an app log and let me know the log number?

@wyzejasonj
Give me a minute or two, I’ll try to get a log file
I had to set it to go against one of my outdoor plugs
Log 1340556
Thanks
Seems the events and plugs come and go at this point.
The main error I see flashing occasionally at the bottom of the main menu is:
Failed to update the device list (error code 500).

I have access to live view on my cameras at this point, so I hesitate to logoff.

Hopefully it will clear up overnight, I am done for tonight.
Good Luck everyone!

Can everyone experiencing the issue please try again and let me know if it is resolved. You may need to restart the app.

Same here today but it came back after a while.

It’s just Wyze’s new Bug A Month :tada:

@WyzeJasonJ
Everything seems back to normal this a.m.
I did NOT perform a logoff/login, just the cache clearing.

I am still not seeing the firmware updates for the BR30 bulb, V1 Bulbs, Interior/exterior plugs.
They are working right now though.

Thanks for all your help!

Thank you!

yep getting pretty tired of this. seems like every time i NEED to have camera working and i am not at home to constantly reset, restart and restart there is NOTHING. when u r away and it cant be depended on i am unfortunatly, after spending hundreds of dollars on new cameras, all the time getting updated, i need to start considdering other alternatives. maybe less cameras, but better coverage, etc. sad, i always had high hopes of their “visions” of good quality and yep why keep changing things…
