Wyze doorbell no longer sending detection notifications

Outside of the reports in this thread, I have seen no other reports of this thumbnail issue anywhere in the forum and I read just about everything.

As I posted above, I am running the VDB on current FW with the latest Production App on an Android 13 Moto G and have never received a sideways notification thumbnail.

I was hoping a moderator such as yourself would have brought the issue up internally since you are fully aware.

Mavens and Moderators aren’t internal. We are customers and Wyze users just like you. We only have one method to escalate anything, and that is when there is a Customer Support discrepancy that needs further review by one specific person at Wyze… And we don’t even know who that person is. We just have a flag to plant on the ticket number.

Doorbell V2 having a similar issue. I found turning off the smart AI detections and going to ā€œrecord all motion eventsā€ fixed the issue. It now sends notifications to my phone.

It’s not a real fix though. I pay $130 a year for the service I want it to work.
