Our cat got out last Friday, which was the coldest night of the year. We knew he was OK because we saw him cross the yard on our video doorbell.
We noticed last night he was on the events from our video doorbell at 1:13 am. Tonight, my daughter put out fresh food at 12:45am and at 1:09am we saw him and were able to get him back inside. We don’t know how or when we would have found him without the video doorbell.

I know how concerning it can be when one of these critters gets loose, especially if it’s an indoor-only cat, so I’m glad your pet is safe. Thank you for sharing your story!
Glad you found your cat. Wyze Cam v3 cameras inside my double pane windows works well for me. The v3 cameras always capture my neighbor’s cat patrolling my property.
I have a full night of freeloading cat videos every night, MFP, Black Cat, Cow cat, Gray and white cat, another black and white cat, all gray cat and the Orange Cat who wears a tracking device.
What model Wyze cameras do you use? Trying to give the OP more camera options than a doorbell to monitor their cat.
My cams are V3, V4 and WCO v1. The five V4 cams are the busiest due to their locations around the exterior of the house.
