These shady[Mod Edit] have been doing this to me too, and I didn’t catch it for a while because one subscription was being billed through the web and one through the Apple app store. I just figured it out because the shady [Mod Edit] AGAIN tried to get me to sign up for ANOTHER subscription.
They tried this crap saying “Oh, it was our fault your cam plus subscription was cancelled, so here’s 60% off the one month price.” So if I hadn’t checked my subscriptions they would have gotten me for a third subscription.
Seriously, [Mod Edit] Wyze. I have been a long time Wyze customer since they first started releasing their products, and I’ve bought a ton of them. But it wasn’t until I got their crappy [Mod Edit] security system that I’ve decided to stop buying their products.
They literally FORCE you to pay for a monthly subscription in order to use it. You don’t even have the option to turn the thing on if you’re not actively subscribed to it. So you’re stuck with the thing after your free trial of the Wyze Monitorng subscription runs before you even realize that the stupid system won’t even let you arm it without continuing to pay.
I’ve tried talking to their support and they are purposely unhelpful. Shady [Mod Edit] company and I’m sorry I ever purchased any of their products! If there is ever a class action lawsuit against them, I’m fully onboard!
