The camera keeps seeing my car and truck parked in the same place and alerting me that there is a vehicle in my driveway. I want to know if other vehicles are in my driveway but don’t need constant alerts that the same vehicles in the same places are there.
Welcome to the Forum, @keithb87!
What you’re describing is a frequent complaint because something within the camera’s view triggers a detection and then Wyze’s AI analyzes everything within the image, including the parked vehicles. I have a vague recollection of reading that Wyze is trying to improve this to eliminate some unwanted vehicle detections. What cameras are you using, and what have you tried to mitigate the issue? I’ve had decent results by setting Detection Zones on a static camera to reduce reports of the pickup parked in the driveway, but from what I read this doesn’t resolve the issue for everyone.
AI Tags aren’t necessarily the detected motion. If you determine what the detected motion is (branches, flags, bushes etc) and find a way to mitigate that or lessen that (detection zone, sensitivity settings), then the stationary ai tags of vehicles will be less common.
Here is a wishlist that you can support that sounds like would help here.
