I read your post but I’m not sure what It has to do with the error message. I’m trying to play back recorded events. I can view snapshot images just fine
In continuous recording mode it should still tag events and be able to view them from the event in the list. Make sure you have your event recording configured - “Tag” means to log an event and put an icon on the timeline, and “notify” means to send you an alert.
That still doesn’t solve the problem. Having it record continuously fills up the card and that limits how far back you can review the events because it overwrites it with footage where nothing is happening. Probably also not the best for longevity of the card.
You said you were recording continuously… it works the same in “event only” mode. Though personally I run all mine in continuous mode. Get 10-12 days of history on a 128GB endurance card, been going for 3.5 years. That way there is never any risk of missing something. But you can choose either one.
I’m not sure what your problem is at this point? Is it recording to SD card or not?
The error message comes up when it’s set to events only. I tried continuous recording to see whether or not the card was capable of recording past 2GB worth of footage to determine if the card was a fake card. It recorded over 10gb and i put it back to events only and the error message came up again. I believe events only records only triggered events. That way you can use a 16gb card and still have access to like a month worth of activity, which is necessary if you have multiple cameras. Those SD cards add up very quickly.
My v4 runs continuous and logs events, and I can tap the event then tap “micro SD card” and it plays the event. I haven’t tried it on events only, maybe there is some glitch with that.
If you go to the card (not by tapping an event) is there anything recorded on it (green spots on the timeline) and if so can you view them? Is the time on your cams and phone both synched and correct?
Have you tried pulling the card and formatting it with the sdcard.org formatter as mentioned previously?
