The motion capture has worked for the most part and is useful. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but it’s now sending alerts for motion each time my Christmas lights change color from a white to a color mode. Just put up our tree and noticed this.
It’s sending 2-3 alerts per minute. Is there a way around this?

Lots of ways. Turn off detection. Set a detection zone. Repoint the camera. Block its view. Lower sensitivity. Turn off the lights. Enable person detection only…
You think you have it bad, I run a music synchronized Christmas light show at my house. I have thousands of RGB lights in my front yard that are doing stuff to the music. Poor cameras go nuts. I have them not send alerts during the season.
If you have the sense motion sensor you can turn off the cameras detection at night and only use the motion sensor to trigger videos. I do this when it is really windy outside.
I have the exact same issue, now that I have put up my Christmas lights as it changes color Wyze Camera reports it as Person detection. You guys need to improve your person detection algorithm, I am sharing the feed with you so you can make improvements. Reach out to me if your Dev team would like to run some tests.
