Wow! What an update! It’s rare to see so much all at once! This is a core update for sure. I’ll go load it and keep an eye out

Where do I get the newest version, 4.70.0.3005. I have this on one camera. I have 2 Cam Pan V4 cameras and don’t know where to get 4.70.0.3005. They have several Apps on Play Store but I don’t know which one to download. Very confused. HELP. PLEASE and thank you.

That’s the app you want to download. The only other apps they have are one specially made for the Wyze Car and one that says WiFi Analyzer. The only way you’ll see something different is if you are using a REALLY old version of Android that doesn’t support the Wyze app anymore. Then you have to be careful of using the other apps that might be pretending to be Wyze but aren’t really from Wyze.

Once you have that app, unless you are fairly tech savvy, I would generally recommend not using beta firmware and just waiting until it is publicly released. Beta Firmware can have bugs to work out first and it’s best to let the beta testers find them to be resolved first.

But if you are determined to try this Beta firmware, you can open the app, go to the account tab (at the bottom right), go to “About” then “Beta Program” then go put a check mark in the “Wyze Cam Pan V4” and click “Save” -Then you will be enrolled to get beta firmware on this new device (assuming you have a newer Android version and a newer Wyze App Version that is compatible with the latest firmware). I don’t know if this enables beta for you instantly or if it takes a few minutes, but you can go to the camera settings, click on “Device Info” and the firmware version and manually update the camera to latest version that way.
