but it does first you have to make sure detection zone is off you set your position turn detection zone on and then motion tracking and you’re all set when it tracks motion it will then go back to the original setting if you don’t have detection zone on it will not work

Nope. That is exactly how I set mine. Doesn’t help.

With all features off, I set the position in the live stream and then enable the DZ. Return to the live view and enable Motion Tracking.

24 hours later… I have once again turned Motion Tracking off because it is not returning to the home position as required:
