Only One exit and they don’t have access to my power. I’m not actually loosing power. The camera is still live. Can I use both an SD card and hook the camera to wifi simultaneously, do you know?
I have 15 cameras and 11 of them do continuous recording to 128GB and 256GB micro SD cards. They are all connected to WIFI, and record Cloud event videos. I have Cam unlimited. The 4 cams that don’t record continuous are my old battery powered WCO v1 cams.
Yes the SD card will work along with wifi and any subscriptions you have.
Even if the wifi goes down it will continue recording to the SD card and when the wifi is back up you can watch the footage in the wyze app (or put the card in a computer and watch it that way).
Have you confirmed if your internet is up and working on other devices when the cam misses recordings?
Exactly. Everything else is working except the missing footage.
Then that would rule out a deauth attack, as that would boot every wifi device in range, or at least ones using WPA2 encryption which is still the most common type.
Perhaps they’ve gained access to your wifi and router? They can block and unblock wifi devices that way. Change your password to your ISP account, your router, and your wifi. You will need to re-pair your devices to the wifi but better safe than sorry.
I purchased an SD card and will change my password. Thank you!
