Wyze Cam Floodlight Pro continuous recording

Hi,

How can I configure my Floodlight Pro Cam to continuously record video so I can watching 30 mins of continuous video (for example)? I have an SD card installed and a subscription to Cam Unlimited.

Currently, I have the cam configured to Motion event recording. However, when I go to watch the video, it only has 10-20 secs available. I would like to watch the complete video that is recorded the entire day.

The installed SD card is an SanDisk 256GB Extreme MicroSDXC UHS-I Memory Card - C10, U3, V30, 4K, A2, Micro SD - SDSQXA1-256G-GN6MN.

How are you trying to watch recorded videos? Are you looking only at events? Are you selecting video from the app’s  Events tab or from the RECENT EVENTS section on the camera’s main Live Stream screen?

Also, how do you have recording configured for the installed microSD card? If you look at the Cam Floodlight Pro unboxing video, it shows where in the app to manage those settings; however, app v3.3.5x moved the microSD card settings to the main Settings screen for a given device, so that’s probably where you’ll find it if you’re using a current production app. Once you know that your have microSD recording configured the way you want it (should be Continuous if you want 30 minutes at a time), then on the camera’s main Live Stream screen hit the  SD Card icon in the menu bar below the live view pane. See the unboxing video for a demonstration of this.

When you’re recording continuously to microSD, selecting the icon to view the microSD card playback timeline should show you an unbroken vertical green stripe on the right side. That’s an easy visual cue to let you know when video recorded throughout the day and/or if there were any interruptions.

That’s something else entirely, and since microSD playback is at real-time speed you may want to look at the  Monitoring tab’s My Day feature. You may need to swipe up from the bottom to reveal the SUMMARY section in order to select this.

I had been going to “Events”.
