So I have an automation set up to where when I’m at home one of my cameras turns off. However it’s not working. I’m home now and the camera is still turned on and working. Do I have something configured wrong?

That looks correct to me, but my use of Location Trigger Automations is limited. Two thoughts come to mind:
- I don’t know if the I arrive has to be registered by Wyze’s geofencing system as a separate event. By that I mean that I don’t know if remaining at home is enough to trigger the Automation or if someone first has to leave home and then arrive/return. That might be one thing to test.
- I’ve read other users’ reports on the Forum that these geofencing-based Automations don’t work 100% of the time, and I trust those users to have futzed with these more than I have in my limited experience. Maybe you’re just seeing one of those glitches?
I mess around with location tracking quite a bit. But not in the Wyze app.
Does it work when you wake your phone up?
GPS is finicky without, all the time, precise location tracking, no battery optimization, run in background etc. etc. No Wyze app sleeping etc.
I’m an Android user and most of my tracking is done either in Tasker and Autolocation or Home Assistant. I have every possible optimization turned off, uses more battery, but that’s on me.
And I assume the Wyze automation functions as advertised.
In addition @Crease is correct. You must have left the zone and re-enter. Just being in the zone will not trigger the automation.
