Running Wyze App v3.10 on an iPad Air Pro with iOS version 16.7.14 (the latest the iPad can run). I am live -streaming 4 outside OG cameras with pretty consistent connectivity. The problem is that the Wyze app intermittently “minimizes” on the iPad such that the tablet returns to its Home Screen. Double-tapping the device’s home button shows that the Wyze app is running in the background, but of course not displaying on the screen.
I’ve cleared the iPad cache, updated the Wyze app to the latest available version, cold rebooted the device (mult times) , turned off the app notifications (via iOS settings) all without fixing the problem.
Is this an iOS problem/quirk for the Wyze app? Is there a fix ? If I need an iPad that will run a newer version of iOS, will that likely fix the problem? Do I need to switch to an android tablet ?
