Since the release of Wyze app for iOS 2.42.5.2 (June 7, 2023), the alert features do not work on Wyze Cam and Wyze Doorbell. All are enabled both on iOS as well as on Wyze app, but there is no alert! Please help.
Can you get me a log from one of the devices you are having the issue with?
Recreate the issue. Then in the Wyze app, go to Account > Wyze Support > Submit a Log. Select your device from the dropdown menu. Then fill in the description box with the date, time, and time zone of the most recent time you noticed this issue and a description of what’s happening. Make sure the Send Logs option is selected and then submit your log. When you have the log number, please post it here as a reply to me so I can get it to the right folks.
I updated the iOS app to 2.42.6.1 fifteen min ago. I just tested notifications on four version one WCO , three V3 Cams and one V3 Pro cam and got notifications on all 8 cameras.
I submitted the log with Log ID: 1079265
I still have alert issues with video doorbell and cam v2 even after wyze iOS app 2.42.6.1.
Please note that all alerts are enabled both on iOS and wyze app.
And it didn’t matter how the detection zone is set and the problem persists.

We are missing important alerts and notifications, and anxious to get the feature back.

Hi Could you please submit another log for v2? For Doorbell you submitted. I do see two events today. Are you able to see these two in your event list? Or you can see these two but no notification when the event happened.
Hi Desmond, For both v2 and doorbell, we can see the events on the event lists but there are no notifications even though the notifications are enabled both on the Wyze app and on the iOS. I’ll submit another log for v2.

For this device. I notice you also trun on sound detection and there are multiple sound events uploaded. Are you receiving those sound notifications?
No notifications for the sound alerts either. Same as in motion alerts, they appear on the event lists however.
Any update on “no alert” issues on v2 and doorbell?
The new iOS app 2.43 DID NOT FIX “No Alert Issues” on v2 and doorbell.
Still no alerts even though all alert settings are set both on the iOS app and on the device
