I have another iPad that is stuck after app upgrade. I cleared cache and also restarted iPad. These were screenshots when I did the post.
It took awhile but finally cleared and now seems to be working again on this iPad as well.
Put you finger on the top of the screen and pull the page down, monitoring will load. I did it a couple of weeks ago and have to do it at least once a day when I first open the app on the iPad
In my iPad settings, access to the local network for the Wyze app was disabled. Toggling it to “on” seemed to fix it. Guessing it was the recent iPadOS update.

The iPad local network setting for the WYZE app has been on for the last 4+ years. I don’t have the monitoring issue on my phone.
