According to the AI support at Currently, the Friendly Faces feature is not supported on Wyze Cam v4 or Wyze Cam Pan v4. So according to support the AI that is why it didn’t work.

Even though the website says it is supported.

Excellent, that will make it easier for them to find. I’ll let someone know as well. I know they have ways help improve the AI.

My guess would be that the AI is using some kind of RAG system and pulled an old article about friendly faces that didn’t mention the newer models and so the AI concluded the wrong thing.

But Wyze didn’t tell me any of that. I am just hypothesizing this because of my AI education. Nonetheless, I will make sure someone higher up at Wyze is at least aware of the Support bot event here. Thanks for sharing. :+1:
