Wyze does not work for me. The cameras won’t come up at times, but suddenly they do work, making me miss the action that triggered them while it is happening. One thing that Wyze does well is advertise a lot. I finally figured out how to make these obnoxious texts with pop up ads from Wyze stop. We are divorced from that company because they simply don’t work as well as my Reolink system. Reolink is easy to review, has a much better viewing system in that one can see it on a regular computer on a larger screen and doesn’t have all the ads and offers when trying to review a video.
Indeed Wyze is junk, and truly not outdoor rated as the lenses eventually suck in water once the glue breaks down from sunlight exposure.
The firmware and software bugs with most every update.
I too started installing Reolink 4k series cams in place of my Wyze cams, they work much better with stable firmware and software so not the constant updating.
They just work as a Security Camera should.
Wyze is just a hobbyist’s Toy camera at best and should not be considered a security device…

I have 0 ads or offers when reviewing a video, I think you’re tapping the wrong place. I’ve never gotten a text message, pop up, or notification with an advertisement either.
