I just added a second base station and a new modem. I have 6 cameras, 4 battery and two hard wire. The hard wires will not work? Says camera offline. How do I get them back on line?
Since you got a new modem did you use the same SSID (Network Name) and password as the previous network? Does your new modem have an SSID for the 2.4 network and another for the 5.0GHz network? My modem had one SSID for both networks but I split them in the router settings and named them the same as the old network. I also had to turn of Band Steering.
I came here to search this issue because I have two wired cameras and both have been offline since 7am for no apparent reason. We have not changed anything about our network. They were working perfectly and then stopped. I have tried resetting, restarting, unplugging, etc. Hopefully you are able to resolve your issue as well.
I have eleven wired camera and four old WCO battery camerass and they have all been online. Try restarting the router?
Did you also try power cycling your modem and WiFi router too? For me, power cycling everything usually gets my Wyze cameras working again.
I’m struggling to understand what Cams are actually being used here. As far as I’m aware, only the Cam Outdoor models use a Base Station, so the tag for Battery Cam Pro isn’t making sense to me, and it might also be helpful to know which wired Cams are having problems. More detail about this situation would be helpful.
