When I first mounted this camera, it had a great focused image of the intended subject approximately 100 feet away, even though there was a porch screen in between at about 6 feet from the camera. There was no screen discernible in the image. At some point the camera focused on the screen and now I can still see the subject, there is much distortion from the screen and I see the screen in the image. How can I get the camera to focus as it first did to ignore the screen? This is an OG telephoto camera.
Welcome to the forum. Since it is late November the sun is lower. I have two cams looking out windows without screens and I’ve had to reposition them a little to keep the view I had. Just my wild guess.
Changing the mounting placement might be the best solution. Here are some tips if you might be mounting directly on the screen.
