WiFi doorbell chime

Welcome to the Forum, @arlanascreations!

When I check just now in Wyze Shop using a desktop browser, I’m also seeing that Chime Controller and Wi-Fi Chime are both out of stock.

When I check via the  Shop tab in the Wyze app, both appear to be in stock! :exploding_head:

I don’t know why there’s a discrepancy between the two platforms, but I’d check the app to see if that makes a difference for you. I was checking merely because there’s a difference in the notification system if you sign up for back-in-stock notifications in the app versus on the Web site…or at least there was at one time. What I used to see on the Web site was that signing up asked for a phone number for SMS, but I’m not seeing that now; signing up in the app requests an e-mail address for the in-stock messages.

If you already have Battery Video Doorbell, then it’s possible to use that with a compatible built-in home doorbell chime without Chime Controller, but that can sometimes lead to unintended chime behavior (buzzing, humming, phantom rings, etc.), so installing Chime Controller is recommended. You could try it without installing Chime Controller and see how that works. If you have other compatible Wyze Cams, then you can also use those as accessory chimes.

My understanding of Roku’s video doorbells is that the hardware is essentially like the original Wyze Video Doorbell v1 and Video Doorbell Pro, neither of which would use a Chime Controller, because they’re not designed to activate a home’s built-in chime.
