WiFi connection sporadic
Even though the lock is very close to my WiFi device it doesn’t connect well like the metal door affects the signal. Surely many doors are metal and this was considered?
About 4 out of 5 attempts to get the app to connect and lock it unlock the door are unsuccessful?
Anything metallic attenuates the WiFi signal. Most residential doors are wood.
Bummer. Mine are metallic. My exterior walls are concrete block. Even my garage door is metallic. Interior doors are wood.
It’s a very thin sheet of aluminum, and mine doesn’t seem to affect the floodlight V2 installed outside.
Edit - It’s not aluminum. I tested it with a magnet.
