Wifi connection issue

We have had our Wyze camera for a fews months ans have loved it! But now we have moved to a new home with a different network and are trying to connect the Wyze camera, but it’s not reading the QR code. We are connected to the 2.4 ghz rather than the 5.0 ghz. I’m not getting any error messages associated with the wifi. I can get to the QR code screen and it reads it, but then it says can not connect. I have tried it on both our Samsung 8 and our iphone 8 plus, with the same issue.

Also if you can , try naming the new network the same as the old one and you wouldn’t have to set them up again
