Why does it default to having the sound muted

When I select a camera it seems to default to having the sound muted every time now. Sometimes I think I’m listening to my son sleeping only to find out that it switched the sound off again. Very frustrating

Because some users don’t want to open the app and have the sound blaring at them. It is more convenient to turn the sound on than it is to fumble and try to turn it off.

I was going to get another Wyze cameras to monitor my 13 month granddaughter when she naps. I ended up getting a Hello Baby monitor. The screen on this model is small but the Hello Baby works well.

Wyze needs to have a preference setting in the app for each camera so those of us that use it to monitor their children can set it to default sound on, and those cameras that monitor outside can set it to default sound off.

How does one submit this to Wyze?

Wyze needs to have so many things right, but unfortunately most of the stuff that users want, falls on deaf ears.
