Wyze needs to have a preference setting in the app for each camera so those of us that use it to monitor our children can set it to default sound on, and those cameras that monitor outside can set to default sound off. For some time it seems to default to off, which is dangerous for us trying to monitor a child.
Just out of curiosity, why choose Wyze camera as a baby monitor over a dedicated baby monitor?
Not used as a baby monitor. It monitors my adult son who has a life threatening medical condition in multiple rooms in my house. I already have outdoor Wyze cameras and plugs for security so this works well - except for the fact that the sound is off sometimes
