I appreciate the suggested remediation…
Please submit a log and Make sure your Wyze app and camera’s firmware is up to date. If the issue continues, contact Wyze support
…however, my understanding is that the Wyze engineers get so many logs in their system that a good chunk of them disappear into a because there’s no or insufficient guidance regarding what they should be seeking within a log. In other words, they can’t begin to fix the problem if they don’t know what the problem is they’re supposed to be trying to fix.
I think a better suggestion might be to generate a log and then follow up with a Support ticket, because at least that way you’ll have a means to provide a better description of the problem and have it tied directly to a Log ID. An additional benefit is that you now have both a Log ID and a Wyze Ticket number that you can post to the Forum if someone here requests that information while attempting to assist.
