Almost every experience I have had with Wyze support has been worthless. They are completely scripted and can’t seem to think their way out of a three sided box (you know, three sides and the rest wide open).
Some of the issues are they are outsourced and do not have access to some things (like the logs that you send) but this excuse only goes so far.
For a $20-$30 camera what kind of support do you expect?
Wyze cams are just hobbyist’s toys, Not Security Cameras
With Wyze you definitely get what you pay for…

I have to disagree with you. Wyze cams are not “just hobbyist’s toys”. The degree and level of technical and AI integration advances them beyond that type of categorization. Why not exit the Wyze infrastructure and move on to another platform where you can then leave the negative comments out of the equation. There is good and bad even in the best.
Even if they are a hobbiest cheap camera, it is no excuse for the way support is. If you say you are going to support a product, support it. If you cannot support it, then you need to state that. I have worked for/with companies that state when a product is out of support, they will still do their best to help if you ask. Pretty simple, best effort. Every one of those has had better support for unsupported products than the support for Wyze.
